Hello! My nameโs Mika and I am an artist, poet, and aspiring fashion designer exploring the spaced where beauty and melancholy coexist. I am often inspired by the darkness people often fear to explore.
My creative practice draws from gothic aesthetics, philosophy, esotericism, literature, and media that I adore, which shapes a visual language that explores memory and the beauty found in melancholy. I see fashion as another form of storytelling to explore myself, including my culture.
This webpage documents my journey as not only as a designer, but me as a whole. I will be showcasing my projects, creative process, achievements, and experiences. it reflects not only the work i have created but also but also the ideas, inspirations, and growth that continue to shape my practice.
